GrandLuxe Rail Journeys explores the diverse landscapes and cultures of the United States and Mexico via the American Orient Express train. Many GrandLuxe rail tours travel through terrain accessible only by train, unspoiled by highways or traffic lights. The spectacular natural beauty of America's national parks, the wide open spaces of the Northwest and the colonial cities of Mexico are among destinations you can visit.

The American Orient Express train features refurbished vintage train cars. Dining cars with regional specialties and gourmet cuisine, lounge cars with live piano entertainment every evening and a dome car offering 360-degree views of the passing landscapes are highlights. There's an unmistakably nostalgic ambience aboard the American Orient Express.

GrandLuxe prices include most sightseeing, enrichment program lectures and personal service from rail car attendants and professional tour managers aboard the American Orient Express train. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and all non-alcoholic beverages are also included.

    Luxury = Tours typically range from $400 to $600 per person, per day, plus airfare.
